It's been crazy lately!

Well it's been quit a while since I've blogged. I've been running around with work, Bible study, cheerleading, Christmas Musical, Spanish Class, dinners, etc... Don't get me wrong, I love it. Let's see, what has been going on lately....?

Well Piper has started taking dance. She's been asking all summer so I thought I would check into it. Well come to find out if you are a working mom, then your child is out of luck. They cannot take any extra curricular activities. What year is it people? Come on! The guy at the dance studio actually told me that he doesn't teach children her age past 5 because they needed to be eating dinner at that time and in the bed by 7:00. I wanted to say, and exactly how many children have you birthed and raised? But, my mother reminded me it was about Piper and not me and she is taking her to her 3:00 class. And don't even get me started on the price of dance for a 4 year old. That's another whole rant.

Peyton our sweet baby has been cheering her tail off. We have finally cut our practices to one day a week and she is so happy. She actually says on Thursday nights before she goes to bed, "I have tomorrow off!". I know, that's sad. Even though she has Monday and Tuesday nights off, she says she really doesn't because she has to do her homework. Which shouldn't take 2 days to complete, but when you drag out putting your 20 words in ABC order for an hour, then it does take 2 days. Focus sister, focus!

Jamie and I had a wonderful evening at the Georgian Terrace and the Fox last Thursday. I was honored at an event for work and we took full advantage of it. We got all dressed up and stayed out til 1am! Like Kelli said, that was like 4am when we were 18. It took me all day Saturday to recover. hahaha

I'm in the process of planning our neighborhood Halloween Party. We host the event every year at our house. This year I'm going big. It's Friday night, so why not? We are starting off with the usual hot dogs/hamburgers/musical chairs, then off to trick-or-treat. Then when we are all done, we come back to my house for popcorn/hot chocolate and a scary movie on the lawn! I'm so excited. I'm currently looking for that perfect all age appropriate movie that is really more funny than scary. I'm leaning toward the Haunted House movie Eddie Murphy was in not to long ago.

Well that's about it for now. Don't forget it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Feel'em up and make sure they are healthy, everybody's doing it! hahaha
